Zippo Sunglasses: Review

If there’s one thing you need in the desert, it’s a good pair of shades – even in November. Coming from the Midwest in late Fall, we didn’t really have sunshine on the mind. Of course, that was naive, because Death Valley is bombarded by piercing rays all year round. When we arrived we were glad that we tossed several pairs of Zippo Sunglasses in our packs.

They have enough styles and sizes to accommodate just about anyone. They’re also rated UV400, which blocks 99% of all UVA and UVB light, and in the desert this was important. It gets bright where we’re from, but not Death Valley bright. That was a different beast altogether.

There are over 50 styles to choose from, and many are only  $25, which means that you don’t have to constantly be nervous about getting the tiniest scratch. The week we spent in the Mojave Desert was dusty, as in, there was dust on every single thing we brought with us. The Zippo Sunglasses help up just fine and we found the clarity to be excellent.

$24.95 – $49.95
