I have a fire pit at home and one of my favorite things to do is to have a brat and a beer after work (ok, mostly the beer). I want to relax and eat some good food and that’s about it. I brought the Zip Premium All Purpose Firestarter home last week and decided to give them a whirl. Initial impressions? It doesn’t take much at all to get them started and the flame is massive for a small cube. For that reason I didn’t use any kindling the second time I made a fire and it still worked like a charm. You literally put one a few dry logs, light the bag, and bam – you have a fire. It even works if the logs are a little damp.
The Zip Premium All Purpose Firestarter works great, and the fire starts fast. I also like that they’re individually wrapped, making it easy to throw a few in a bag in case you want to have a fire on a day hike. They come in sizes of 6 or 12.
